    Allison earned her degree in Musical Theatre from Western Illinois university where she sang in Concert Choir, University Singers and Madrigal Singers. Since her time at WIU Allison has performed in children's theatre and community theatre all over the country. She is a property manager in Geneseo, Illinois.

  • headshotAlyssa Mathias, Alto

    Alyssa Mathias, alto, is a visiting assistant professor of music at Knox College, where she teaches global traditional and popular music. She holds a PhD in ethnomusicology from UCLA and a BA in music from the University of Chicago. Alyssa has sung with Chicago's Grant Park Chorus, the Schola Cantorum Cathedralis at Holy Name Cathedral, Superdevoiche Bulgarian women's choir and the Galesburg Community Chorus. She is also an active performer of Middle Eastern music on the violin.

    Brandon is pastor of Faith United Presbyterian Church in Monmouth, Illinois. Brandon received his B.A. in music from Monmouth College and his Master of Divinity at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.

    Callen teaches choir and band in the Sherrard School District. A graduate of Western Illinois University, Callen performed with the WIU Opera and vocal jazz ensemble. She sings with Quad City Singers and directs and performs at Quad City Music Guild, Playcrafters Barn Theatre and Countryside Community Theatre.

    Chelsea Crumbleholme resides in the Quad Cities where she is a speech therapist at Genesis Outpatient Pediatric Therapy Center. She also performs with and serves as a board member for Opera Quad Cities. In her spare time, she teaches piano and voice lessons and fosters kittens from the Scott County Humane Society.

    Christian hails from the Peoria, IL area. He sings with the choir at First Federated Church of Peoria and participates in the Peoria Bach Festival every year. He also plays classical saxophone and performs with the Pekin Park Concert Band. His other half, Eva, inspires hm to be better every day. Christian thinks making music is a lot of fun and is excited to share it with you!

    Corgan Ball is a fifth-year at Knox College studying Vocal Music Education. They are the president of the Knox College Choir for the 2023-2024 school year, and work at the Galesburg Tourism & Visitors Bureau and Nova Singers. Corgan also participates in local theatre productions at Prairie Players Civic Theatre both on-stage and on their marketing committee. They also serve as the student member of the board for the Galesburg Community Chorus.

    Curtis is the director of choral activities for the Rockridge School District. He received his B.A. in music, M.A. in vocal performance and M.A.E. in education from Truman State University. He has performed with Circa '21 Dinner Theater, Quad City Music Guild, The Green Room and City Opera Company of the Quad Cities. Curtis is a member of Quad City Choral Arts and bell choir director for the Church of Peace in Rock Island.

    Dakota is a recent graduate of Iowa Wesleyan University. Dakota sang in a variety of styles and genres of literature, including with the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra, as well as smaller chamber ensembles and solo work within his collegiate choir.

    David has performed with groups such as the Bach Chorale Singers, Lafayette Chamber Singers and the Peoria Area Civic Chorale where he served as bass section leader. David is a software engineer at Caterpillar, having received a Ph.D. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University.

    Emily DiBenedetto, soprano, is a social studies teacher at Lombard Middle School and a graduate of Knox College. While earning a double major in History and Secondary Education, she was a member of the Knox College Choir and served as its president during the 2020-21 school year. Emily is a member of the Galesburg Community Chorus and loves to sing big choral works! in her free time she can be found playing video games, watching historical dramas and spending time with her pets and partner.

    Hillary is the general music teacher at Wilson Middle School. She has bachelor's degrees in music from Western Illinois University and St. Ambrose University and is currently pursuing a master's at Western Illinois University. Hillary has performed with Quad City Music Guild, Community of Christ Church, Spotlight Theater and Quad City Singers.

    Ian is a student at Knox College where he is pursuing a BA in Music and a BS in Biology. He participates in the Knox College Choir and Chamber Singers and also sings in the choir at First Lutheran Church of Galesburg. Ian is originally from Kirkwood, MO.

    Jazzie Lerner, alto, is a fifth-year student a Knox College studying Spanish, psychology and vocal performance. She sang and served on the board for the Knox College Choir and Chamber Singers for four years and led Food Recovery Network to reduce food waste at Knox. She's currently a Spanish tutor and sings in church choirs in Denver and Galesburg. When she isn't at rehearsal she enjoys crocheting and painting watercolors.

    Jeffrey Moore, tenor, directs the 6th-8th grade choirs at Clinton Middle School in Clinton, IA. He holds a BA in Music Education from the University of Louisville and a MA in Secondary Education from Indiana University. Jeffrey has performed at Carnagie Hall as well as internationally in Singapore, Taipei, South Korea, China, Austria, Germany and Croatia.

    Joel graduated from Augustana College in 2004. He has previously sung with the Augustana Choir, Handel Oratorio Society, Genesius Guild, Quad City Opera Group, Quad City Music Guild, Quad City Choral Arts, and Florida Pro Musica. Joel can also be found riding his motorcycle, watching birds, planting things, maintaining his website "Sud Savant", and bothering his beautiful wife Anna.

    John Whitson is associate director of Choral Activities at Davenport North High School. He earned B.A.’s in vocal music education and composition from Augustana College and a M.M. in music education from Western Illinois University. John also enjoys performing in and music directing musical theatre.

    Libby received music degrees from Bradley University and Illinois State University. She's performed with Opera Illinois, Cornstock Theater, Eastlight Theater and Peoria Players. Libby is on the music faculty at Illinois Central College and runs a private music studio out of her home in Washington, Illinois.

    Noel Jean Huntley, soprano, earned her B.A.s in English and Theatre Performance from Augustana College, where she sang with the Jenny Lind Vocal Ensemble. She is currently pursuing a Master's in Information and Library Science through SUNY Buffalo. When she's not being a librarian at East Moline Public Library, Noel participates in local theatre productions and has performed at Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse, Quad City Music Guild and the Black Box Theater.

    Pat is director of choral music and drama at Northeast Middle/High School near Clinton, Iowa. He received his B.S. in music from Mount Mercy College, M.M. in piano from the University of Notre Dame, and B.Ed. in music education from St. Ambrose University. A member of the St. Ambrose University-Community Symphony Orchestra, he has performed onstage frequently in community theater. Pat and his wife Jolinda live in DeWitt, Iowa.

    Rachel received degrees in vocal performance from Wartburg College and the University of Minnesota. Rachel has performed as an actor, vocalist and flautist, as well as a professional chorister with the world renowned Minnesota Opera company.

    Sarah is a graduate of Western Illinois University where she studied Music Business and Marketing. While at WIU, Sarah was an active member of University Singers, Madrigal Singers, Vocal Jazz, and Opera Theatre, and was a two-time NATS winner. Sarah also performs with Quad City Music Guild and Quad City Singers, and enjoys playing volleyball. She works as a Project Manager for AT&T and lives with her husband Adam in Rock Island.
